What you will be doing: 

• Conduct hazard assessments for all areas of the company.

• Organize and conduct safety committee meetings (ASA sessions) and safety inspections, as well as develop and implement suitable preventive and corrective measures.

• Serve as a point of contact for senior management and employees regarding workplace safety and fire safety inquiries.

• Continuously raise employee awareness for the early recognition of hazardous situations.

• Analyze accidents and near misses and develop prevention measures.

• Ensure compliance with legal requirements in the areas of occupational safety and fire protection, schedule safety and protection trainings

• Provide guidance and design workspaces with an ergonomic perspective.

• Create new or continually update existing training materials.

• Communicate with occupational safety authorities and accident insurance providers.

• Introduce and implement new processes.

• Develop content for the internal knowledge platform QWiki and SharePoint and keep it regularly updated.

• Contribute to the implementation of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 certifications.

You are a good match if you have: 

• Experience in the field of occupational safety and fire protection.

• High degree of self-organization and a structured work approach.

• Excellent written and spoken English & German skills.

• High level of commitment and dedication.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Additional qualifications as a first aider and/or fire safety officer are desirable

• Nice to have an "FaSi certification" (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit)

• Nice to have "internal auditor" certification
