Purpose of the internship

The internship programme is designed as a short term, supervised professional placement supporting strategic priorities of the College. Interns work closely with senior leadership to contribute to outreach, institutional visibility, and growth activities, while developing practical competencies aligned with employability and academic progression standards.

Progression framework

At the end of the internship period, performance is formally reviewed. Based on outcomes, interns may:


•Receive an institutional portfolio reference


•Extend responsibilities within the same function


•Be considered for transition into a junior or full position, subject to organizational needs

Internship Tracks and Learning Outcomes

1. Community Engagement Intern

Key duties


•Support planning and coordination of academic and community engagement activities


•Assist outreach to students, alumni, partners, and external stakeholders


•Contribute to event organization and stakeholder communication


•Prepare short reflective and analytical reports for leadership

Learning outcomes

By the end of the internship, the intern will be able to:


•Apply stakeholder engagement principles in a higher education context


•Demonstrate professional communication and coordination skills


•Reflect critically on community building practices in academic institutions

2. Digital Marketing Intern

Key duties


•Support digital communication related to academic programmes and initiatives


•Assist content preparation for web, social platforms, and campaigns


•Monitor basic engagement indicators and prepare summary reports


•Ensure consistency between academic positioning and digital outputs

Learning outcomes

By the end of the internship, the intern will be able to:


•Apply basic digital marketing practices within an educational institution


•Analyse engagement data at an introductory level


•Translate academic offerings into clear institutional messaging

3. International Growth Intern

Key duties


•Support research on international markets and partner institutions


•Assist outreach to academic partners, agents, and networks


•Prepare structured market briefs and opportunity notes


•Contribute to development of an international growth portfolio

Learning outcomes

By the end of the internship, the intern will be able to:


•Conduct structured market and institutional analysis


•Understand internationalisation strategies in higher education


•Communicate professionally across cross cultural contexts

General Requirements (All Tracks)


•Enrolment in or recent graduation from a relevant bachelor or master programme


•Strong written and verbal communication skills


•Ability to work with discretion in close collaboration with senior leadership


•Professional attitude, reliability, and reflective capacity

•Clear task allocation and supervision by senior staff


•Mid point and final performance review


•Portfolio based evidence of outputs and learning


•Written feedback aligned with employability and institutional standards
