Your role

As FP&A manager / Data Stewardship (m/f/d) you join our Corporate Center of Excellence and play a key role in transforming Symrise's global financial reporting and analysis landscape. You'll work at the intersection of Finance, IT and Data, helping to modernize systems, improve data quality, and drive strategic insights. This is a hands-on role with high visibility and impact across the organization to be located in our Global Headquarter in Holzminden.

• You support the setup and evolution of the global Finance Data Asset within transformation initiatives.
• You ensure consistency and integrity of financial data across ERP systems and the group data warehouse.
• You translate complex reporting needs into actionable tasks for software development teams.
• You coordinate cross-functional resources to meet project goals and timelines.
• You document data flows and logic to support long-term system sustainability.
• You test and validate prototypes in close collaboration with development teams.
• You contribute to the development of analytical data models and modern reporting tools.
• You act as a functional expert for financial data, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and integrity across ERP systems and the group data warehouse.
• Your role may evolve into a position like data asset owner or digital product manager, contributing to the development of analytical data models for modern reporting tools.

About you

• You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• You bring 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, financial systems, data analytics, or BI in a multinational environment.
• You have strong skills in Excel, financial reporting tools (e.g., HFM, Power BI), and basic SQL/Python.
• You understand financial statements and key finance concepts.
• You are experienced with ERP and consolidation systems (SAP, HFM, SAP BPC).
• You communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in dynamic environments.
• You are fluent in both written and verbal english and ideally have a good command of another major language such as German.
