Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an innovative and meticulous Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d) to optimize our production processes and ensure the highest quality products are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills, an ability to communicate across all levels, sound project management skills and a commitment to continuous improvement methodologies.
 

Your Tasks:

• Process design and optimization: Developing the most efficient methods for converting raw materials into finished products, including assembly line planning and calculating labor times.

• Equipment and automation: Selection, design and implementation of machines and robotic systems for production.

• Quality and cost control: Implementation of procedures and systems to ensure high product quality while reducing costs.

• Collaboration and training: Collaborate with Engineering, production teams, and other departments to share ideas and train employees in new and existing processes.

• Logistics and Supply Chain: Understanding the broader aspects of the value chain, from initial design to final delivery.

• Continuous improvement: Monitoring and maintaining manufacturing systems to achieve continuous improvement.

Your Profile:

• Technical knowledge: Expertise in engineering principles, materials and production technologies.

• Problem solving: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical, innovative solutions.

• Project management: Competencies in project management, from planning and implementation to lifecycle management.

• Communication: Effective idea sharing and collaboration with diverse teams and leaders.

• Creativity: Developing new, better, faster and more efficient manufacturing methods.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Completed degree (university, university of applied sciences) in engineering.

• Ability to collaborate across functions

• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

• Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.

• Commercially and financially aware.

• Background in manufacturing and/or engineering environment.

• Background in project management.

• Knowledge of ERP system, preferred SAP including production modules.

• Fluent in English and German
