About your role
  • You will take ownership of developing and optimizing tracking systems capable of processing large datasets in real time. Your passion for Big Data, paired with experience handling complex data structures and designing efficient algorithms, will be essential to ensuring accurate and scalable analysis.
  • A key part of your responsibilities includes integrating third-party APIs to enable seamless data import, synchronization, and automation. This relies on your solid PHP background (7.x/8.x), familiarity with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony, and your ability to write clean, maintainable code using OOP and MVC principles.
  • You will also contribute to building high-performance, fault-tolerant microservices in Go for data-intensive and real-time applications. using concurrency patterns like Goroutines, supported by your Go experience and knowledge of unit testing and automated QA to ensure code reliability.
  • To maintain a high standard of code reliability, you will draw on your background in unit testing and automated quality assurance.
  • Designing modern RESTful and RPC APIs will be central to enabling communication between internal services and external systems. Your knowledge of secure, scalable API architecture ensures robust system interaction.
  • Working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, you'll enhance data models and apply SQL optimization techniques to improve performance across systems. In addition, you will help create internal dashboards that make complex data understandable and actionable.
  • Collaboration is key in this agile environment (Scrum/Kanban), and your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly will support smooth teamwork across disciplines. 
  • Finally, you adapt quickly to new tools, languages, and technologies, driven by your curiosity and eagerness to learn.

In a nutshell - What sets you apart: 

  • You have solid experience with PHP (7.x/8.x) and have worked with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
  • Go is part of your toolbox, especially when it comes to using concurrency patterns like Goroutines.
  • You're confident working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and know how to optimize SQL for performance.
  • Designing scalable RESTful and RPC APIs is second nature to you, and you have a strong track record in unit testing and automated QA.
  • You thrive in agile teams and are always eager to explore new technologies.
  • Lastly, you're willing to be on-site at our Munich office at least three days a week for this role.


About your team

You'll join our IT department under the leadership of Daniele Cinquantini (CTO), working directly within the sub team "Shared Services" including 8 Software Developers and 2 Data Scientists.
