We are seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive to join our SymphonyAI Retail division. This highly visible role will focus on driving new business across Europe, with a particular emphasis on closing large, multi-million-pound ARR deals within the retail sector, ideally including FMCG/CPG clients.
You'll be pivotal in accelerating our growth, working with some of the world's leading retail organisations and leveraging the full power of SymphonyAI's innovative solutions.
Job DescriptionWhat You'll Do
- Identify, engage, and develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers in large retail and FMCG/CPG organisations across Europe.
- Lead and manage complex sales cycles from prospecting through to contract negotiation and deal closing, focusing on multi-million-pound ARR opportunities.
- Partner closely with internal teams—including marketing, product, and delivery—to develop tailored solutions that address client needs and showcase SymphonyAI Retail's unique value proposition.
- Develop and execute account plans and strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve/exceed sales targets.
- Maintain deep knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform strategic sales approaches.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings across Europe to strengthen SymphonyAI Retail's market presence and expand your professional network.
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management to senior leadership.
- Champion SymphonyAI Retail's vision, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and prospects.
What You'll Bring
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of enterprise sales experience in the retail sector, with a significant focus on FMCG/CPG clients.
- Track Record: Demonstrated success closing complex, multi-million-pound ARR deals across Europe, ideally within SaaS, data, or AI-driven products.
- Strategic Selling: Proven ability to operate at C-suite level, navigate complex decision-making units, and execute consultative sales processes.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the retail and FMCG/CPG landscape, trends, and challenges.
- Communication: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English (other European languages a plus).
- Results Orientation: Strong drive to meet and exceed ambitious sales objectives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel across Europe as required for client meetings, events, and internal collaboration.
