Join our internal "Fetch" (Deep Research) team at Aleph Alpha, where we are connecting knowledge workers with AI agents. The Fetch team, comprised of experienced members, is dedicated to building cutting-edge applications of LLMs and AI. By developing real-world applications of agentic LLMs, we are not only creating innovative features but also defining the future of work with AI.

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll significantly impact user experience and product innovation, enabling our users to seamlessly harness advanced AI capabilities. If you're passionate about developing responsive, scalable applications using and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments, you could be a great addition to our team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code

  • Develop responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Vue.JS

  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

  • Work alongside backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of front-end components with APIs and other services

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and apply them to improve user experience

  • Translate complex product requirements into technical solutions with a focus on maintaining consistency and usability

Your profile:

  • Relevant frontend experience, ideally in a startup or fast pace environment

  • Experience with creating editors in webapp

  • Experience dealing with real time streaming and multiple users with live editing

  • Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

  • Proficient use of at least one JavaScript framework: VueJs or React

  • Solid software engineering background with a focus on writing clean and pragmatic code

  • Understanding of UX/UI design principles and collaboration with design teams

  • Experience working on accessibility is a plus
