Principal Product Manager

We're seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead global expansion of the Live experience on Fire TV. In this role, you'll drive innovation and product excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver entertainment solutions to millions of customers globally. You'll have significant impact on Fire TV's future direction and work with leadership across the organization.

In this position, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team including hardware, operating system and software engineering, user experience, finance, marketing, customer service, and leadership in defining our live experience for customers worldwide. You'll guide teams through complex product development cycles. You'll also partner with our first-party hardware and third-party OEM teams, aligning roadmaps to ensure our live software strategy enables and differentiates global growth across our device portfolio.

Key job responsibilities
As a Principal PMT in Fire TV live team, you will:

- Develop and execute the consumer-focused product strategy and vision for Live on Fire TV
- Create comprehensive, long-term product roadmaps aligned with team strategy and vision
- Prepare detailed business requirements and user stories for product specifications and architecture development
- Balance priorities between customer experience, performance metrics, and operational efficiency
- Coordinate product launches with Engineering, Operations, Go to Market, PR, and other Product teams
- Build consensus for product vision and strategy across technical and leadership teams
- Collaborate effectively with diverse cross-functional technical, design, and commercial teams

A day in the life
As a Principal PMT, you collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine the product roadmap, balancing customer needs with technical possibilities. You connect with hardware partners to align software strategies that will differentiate Fire TV in the marketplace. Throughout your day, you make data-driven decisions that shape entertainment experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with end to end product delivery

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience working on a consumer hardware or software product
