Software Engineer

We bring together a family of SaaS solutions that help organizations master everything from audit to compliance, from legal to tax. Among them is LARI, a Legal and Regulatory Intelligence platform that leverages technology and AI to keep companies ahead of legal, political, and regulatory changes.

We are looking for a motivated
Software Engineer
to enrich our team, who is willing to grow in the role and in time assume infrastructural and team-leadership responsibilities. Your impact:

·       You contribute by writing and maintaining our web crawlers, that continuously scrape thousands of websites for regulatory information relevant to our clients

·       You help us adapt to the continuing challenges of modern web crawling

·       You help to deliver the information you crawl by interacting with our backend team

Growth path:

·       Take over the responsibility of the crawling infrastructure

·       Lead our flexible team of freelance developers

·       Maintain the custom tools managing and monitoring our crawlers

·       Help inform the design choices of our backend around search, and contribute merge requests against it

Your profile:

·       Fluent in Python

·       Familiar with HTML, CSS, browser's developer tools, Rest APIs

·       Comfortable with git, testing, CI/CD, Linux

·       Ideally comfortable with Django, DRF, Docker, Kubernetes, the occasional Typescript frontend development

·       Curious. Open to experiment with strange technologies (do you like Nix? Have a taste for functional Scala?) but with an appreciation of the good-old boring ones

·       Upfront with your ideas, open to hear others'

·       You are comfortable working fully remotely in a performance-driven environment

·       Fluent in English

·       Resident of Germany, Sweden, or Switzerland
