The Music Creation Applications team develops Logic Pro and GarageBand, empowering millions of musicians, producers, and creators worldwide. We're seeking an Engineering Project Manager who will play a central role in the creation and delivery of professional and popular music creation applications.

Description

You'll collaborate daily with feature teams consisting of engineers, QA specialists, product designers, documentation specialists, and content designers, to transform innovative ideas into production-ready features.

You'll ensure milestones are being correctly set and met to keep the feature teams on track, detect and remove roadblocks before they become problems, make the right people communicate with each other, and are willing to work the late shift to keep the ball rolling when collaborators are working on different continents.","responsibilities":"Ensure your feature teams know what they have to do, what they do it for, when they have to do it, and with whom outside the team they need to interact when.

Actively pull, distill, and push relevant information between your feature teams and those who need to know.

Make sure your feature teams have what they need to do when they need it.

Remove roadblocks before they become real problems for your feature teams.

Ensure the product development documentation is kept up to date.

Collaborate with Program Office to provide clear directions to feature teams based on the feature roadmap, and feedback information from feature teams to Program Office to keep the roadmap up to date and aligned with strategic goals.

Constantly observe processes and actively work to improve them.

Preferred Qualifications

Recording or producing music / playing an instrument is a big plus

Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and technologies, ideally with an understanding of building, evaluating and release management processes for ML systems.

Minimum Qualifications

In depth Engineering Project Management expertise, delivering mobile and desktop applications through a full project lifecycle.

Deep understanding of music production technology.

Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and technologies, ideally with an understanding of building, evaluating and release management processes for ML systems

Deep understanding of the software product lifecycle with experience managing complex projects and collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams.

Confident to take on technical challenges and work with various teams, building and managing relationships to navigate delivery dependencies.

Versatile problem solver with demonstrated creative and critical thinking to deconstruct problems, resolve conflicts, and lead the teams to solutions.
