We are looking to hire a passionate (Field) Service Engineer (f/m/d). You will become a member of the Field Service team, servicing our Molecular Cartography platforms at Resolve's Labs as well as customer sites.  
The role is based in the company's headquarters in Monheim am Rhein, Germany.   
 
Your Responsibilities: 
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on our in-house Molecular Cartography platforms, in Monheim and customer sites. 
  • Installation and relocations of our Molecular Cartography platforms. 
  • Provide technical remote and phone support to customers. 
  • Coordinate service activities with site personnel, as needed. 
  • Document activities, create service reports as required. 
  • Train others to perform servicing activities on our Molecular Cartography platforms. 
  • Generate service instruction documentation. 
  • Propose design changes to improve reliability, serviceability, and the customer experience. 
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures. 


Your profile
  • Master's degree in an engineering/science field or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience of servicing electro-mechanical and/or optics devices, preferably for the life sciences or medical device industry. 
  • 3-5 years experience in comparable roles.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professionalism. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve malfunctions in complex electromechanical systems. 
  • Excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). 
  • Detail-oriented, ability to follow procedures without deviations. 
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs (approx. 23 kg).
  • Willingness to up to 30% travel.
