TASKS WITH IMPACT

• Develop the next evolutionary stage of our supply chain strategy in alignment with the overarching Douglas corporate strategy ("Let it Bloom") – including the design and management of a measurable, actionable implementation program
• Define and establish fundamental principles to guide the future structure and ways of working of our supply chain organization
• Identify optimization potential to increase service levels, improve efficiency, and reduce inventory across the entire supply chain
• Design an integrated supplier management approach to sustainably strengthen our inbound supply chain in close collaboration with Procurement and Planning
• Contribute to the design of our future supply chain organization – with a particular focus on the structure of local central warehouses, in close coordination with the SVP Supply Chain and HR
• Monitor relevant market and technology trends in supply chain management and derive actionable insights for Douglas
• Take on selected interface functions with suppliers to foster both operational and strategic collaboration
• Work closely with central group functions as well as our international OWAC organizations and clusters

YOUR SKILLS

• Successfully completed master's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in strategy consulting (ideally at a top-tier level as Senior Associate or Project Manager) with a focus on the retail/FMCG industry and supply chain management
• Alternatively or additionally: solid practical experience in the retail or consumer goods industry with a focus on retail operations or SCM strategy
• Strong conceptual capabilities combined with a highly execution-oriented mindset and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with international stakeholders at the management level
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus
