Central Operations Manager, DACH (Logistics) (f/m/d) Düsseldorf or Berlin, Germany (onsite)

Gehalt: EUR Equity depending on experience

Upway is hiring a Central Operations Manager among its Operations team. The Operations team's role is to create the largest and highest-quality e-bike offering for Upway shoppers, by sourcing the best e-bikes, refurbishing them and delivering them to their new owner in a seamless customer experience. The Central Operations Manager will be responsible for owning entire parts of operational flow, building processes to optimize operations, analyzing data to understand and bridge gaps, while working closely with the rest of the company to provide best in class experiences to customers. In particular, the Operations Manager will be in charge of Logistics.

This role centers on managing a diversity of operational aspects within the DACH region, from providing operational support to UpCenter teams on specific topics, to running region wide projects. This role will have a key focus on logistics topics:

• Strategic Oversight: Own the DACH logistics setup and routes, focusing on cost optimization, service level enhancement, fostering long-term partner relationships, and exploring alternative solutions.

• Performance Excellence: Achieve top-tier logistics and support metrics, including Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), Service Level Agreement (SLA), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).

• Process Optimization: Design and implement processes to improve efficiency, customer experience, and financial performance with our logistics partners.

• Performance Monitoring: Establish tools and dashboards to gain precise insights into central operations and identify areas for improvement.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the DACH Central and UpCenter Operations teams, as well as internal stakeholders such as Supply & Planning (S&P), Product, and Tech.

• Strong academic background

• 3y+ years of experience in Operations, Consulting, Finance, or equivalent

• Fluency in German and in English

• Ability to be both operational and data driven

• Superior problem solving skills

• Comfort with working in a fast-paced and changing environment

• Attention to details and obsession for operational excellence

• Readiness to be fully accountable for a complex operational scope
