Our Client is an international company operating in the food industry.

We are looking for a person open to
relocation to the UK
and employment at one of the company's sites. The future employee will receive
relocation support
, as well as the opportunity to
visit the site before making a final decision
about cooperation.

Maintenance Manager

Main duties:

  • Managing the Maintenance Department, organizing work, and supervising its execution
  • Providing expert support to the Maintenance Department
  • Ensuring continuity of production processes by maintaining the proper technical condition of machinery, equipment, and production lines
  • Creating plans and schedules for repairs, inspections, overhauls, and maintenance
  • Supervising breakdowns, troubleshooting, and implementing corrective actions
  • Analyzing failures and downtime and taking measures to prevent future occurrences
  • Planning periodic shutdowns and inspections of production lines, as well as the tasks to be carried out during downtime
  • Maintaining technical documentation and reporting maintenance activities
  • Monitoring and reporting maintenance KPIs
  • Developing, optimizing, and implementing new solutions in the area of maintenance
  • Supervising production processes in terms of optimization, improvements, and failure prevention
  • Close cooperation with Production Managers and other departments
  • Securing and recording spare parts for machines and production lines
  • Overseeing the spare parts, tools, and consumables warehouse
  • Collaborating in the development of investment and modernization project proposals (machine purchases and modifications)
  • Responsibility for planning and implementing new projects related to processes, machines, and production lines
  • Organizing and coordinating activities of external service companies and machinery/equipment suppliers

Requierments:

  • Experience in a similar position gained in the Maintenance Department of a manufacturing company
  • Experience in managing a Maintenance team
  • Experience in the food industry – is a must
  • Advanced command of English enabling communication within international structures (meetings, reporting in English)
  • Experience working in international structures
  • Higher technical education
  • Willingness to relocate to the UK
  • Practical knowledge related to repair, operation, and maintenance of machines and equipment
  • Ability to read technical documentation, diagrams, and technical drawings
  • A solution-oriented mindset and focus on continuous improvement
  • Team management skills
  • Independence and ability to organize one's own work as well as the work of subordinate employees
  • Ability to delegate tasks and verify their completion
  • Flexible, responsible, and reliable approach to task execution
