In this role, while not having direct managerial responsibility, you will interact with cross-functional Engineering teams to coordinate the collection, structuring and reporting of information. DEUTSCH:

• Nachhalten von Prozessupdates sowie Buchungsupdates, Abgleich der PR-Prozesskosten mit den Ausgaben am Monatsende, Verfolgen der monatlichen Projektkosten
• Abschätzung der monatlichen Rückstellungen, Aktualisierung von Headcountzahlungen und Personalkosten
• Proaktive Vorbereitung geplanter Geschäftsaktivitäten (bspw. Monatsabschluss, Forecast, Budgetierung) sowie relevanter Meetings mit verschiedenen Abteilungen und Standorten
• Analyse des Cash Conversion Cycle (CC), einschließlich Identifizierung von Engpässen und Verbesserungspotenziale sowie Erstellung von Forecasts und Business Cases
• Leitung und Koordination einzelner Funktionsteams zur Einhaltung der jährlichen Budgets sowie zeitgerechte Meldung von Abweichungen
• Kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Probleme und Prozesse sowie optimale finanzielle Unterstützung des Bereichs PE-Operations.
• Vollständige Umsetzung des Monatsabschluss- und Prognoseprozesses, einschließlich regelmäßiger Erstellung von CAPEX-, D&A-, und Materialprognosen (Sales Orders)
• Einbindung und Unterstützung eines EDD-Mini-Modells und des Ressourcenmanagementprozesses für Europa
• Erstellung eines Projektberichtsprozesses für den Standort Langen

ENGLISH:

• Regular preparation of business cases, forecasts, comparison of CAPEX vs. expenses, and application of CAR (corrective action report) to identify and remedy causes of process deviations
• Tracking process and accounting updates, comparing PR process costs with expenses at the end of the month, tracking monthly project costs
• Estimating monthly provisions, updating headcount payments and personnel costs
• Proactively preparing planned business activities (e.g., month-end closing, forecasting, budgeting) and relevant meetings with various departments and locations
• Analysis of the cash conversion cycle (CC), including identification of bottlenecks and potential for improvement, as well as preparation of forecasts and business cases
• Leading and coordinating individual functional teams to ensure compliance with annual budgets and timely reporting of deviations
• Continuously improving issues and processes and providing optimal financial support to the PE Operations division.
• Full implementation of the monthly closing and forecasting process, including regular preparation of CAPEX, D&A, and material forecasts (sales orders)
• Integration and support of an EDD mini-model and the resource management process for Europe
• Creation of a project reporting process for the location

Required Skills and Education

DEUTSCH:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in der Fachrichtung Betriebswirtschaft, Wirtschaftswissenschaft oder eines verwandten Fachgebiets
• Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung im Controlling, idealerweise mit PE- und R&D-Erfahrung (Projekterfahrung) sowie fundierte Kenntnisse von Prozessen in produzierenden Unternehmen
• Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten und die Fähigkeit, komplexe Finanzdaten zu analysieren, zu interpretieren und zu strukturieren
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Buchhaltung, Budgetierung, Prognosen und Berichterstattung
• Fundierte Kenntnisse der MS Office-Produkte und ausgezeichnete Kenntnisse in MS Excel
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, um Informationen sowohl intern als auch extern klar und verständlich zu vermitteln
• Fähigkeit, Probleme zu erkennen, zu analysieren und effektive Lösungen zu entwickeln
• Fähigkeit, Prioritäten zu setzen, Aufgaben zu delegieren und mehrere Projekte gleichzeitig zu verfolgen
• Fähigkeit, mit internationalen Teams erfolgreich zusammenzuarbeiten
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse und gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
• Bereitschaft, sich mit den operativen Aspekten von Controlling-Aufgaben zu befassen.

ENGLISH:

• A completed degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Controlling, ideally with PE and R&D experience (project experience) including sound knowledge of processes in manufacturing companies
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze,interpret und structure complex financial data
• In-depth knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Sound knowledge of MS Office products and excellent knowledge in MS Excel
• Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and comprehensibly, both internally and externally
• Ability to identify and analyze problems and develop effective solutions
• Ability to set priorities, delegate tasks, and keep track of multiple projects
• Ability to successfully work with international teams
• Very good English language and good German language skills, both oral and written
• Willingness to deal with the operational aspects of controlling tasks.
