As a Technical Consultant for HP | Poly, you're part of a highly skilled Presales team that represents the full HP portfolio – from Computing and Print to Collaboration and Services. Within this team, you focus on modern communication and collaboration solutions that connect people and empower hybrid work.

You serve as the go-to technical expert for HP | Poly products, services, and integrations. Working closely with customers, partners, and HP sales teams, you identify business needs, design tailored UC solutions, and demonstrate how HP technology transforms meeting experiences. You engage technical decision-makers with deep product knowledge and a consultative approach to ensure that HP wins business through innovation and trust.

Your role combines technical expertise, customer focus, and teamwork – collaborating across HP units to deliver seamless, cross-portfolio solutions.

What you'll do

  • Provide technical consulting for Corporate, Enterprise, and Public Sector customers across Germany.

  • Engage with customers to understand their collaboration strategy and translate it into HP | Poly solution designs.

  • Represent the full HP | Poly portfolio: intelligent cameras, video bars, headsets, voice endpoints, and UC integrations with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet.

  • Act as trusted advisor by connecting business goals with technology opportunities.

  • Support the sales process with demos, proof-of-concepts, and RFP/RFI responses.

  • Collaborate in account planning, opportunity qualification, and competitive analysis.

  • Identify attach opportunities for services such as device configuration, analytics, and remote management.

  • Conduct technical enablement sessions for customers and internal teams.

  • Stay up to date with UC trends, emerging AI features, and network technologies.

  • Work closely with presales peers from Computing, Print and Services to build integrated customer solutions.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or vocational training in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in presales, technical consulting, or solution design – ideally in Unified Communications or AV environments.

  • Strong understanding of IP networks, VoIP, and UC platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both IT and business stakeholders.

  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel (25–50 %) within Germany and abroad, plus a valid driver's license.

  • Familiarity with MS Office, CRM systems, and sales analytics tools.
