Deskside Support Technician

Hiring – Deskside Technician (EUC)

Location
: Dreekamp 5, 26605 Aurich, Germany

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide onsite support to authorized users and meet defined SLAs

* Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to end-user computing equipment

* Perform preventative maintenance on EUC devices and peripherals

* Handle reactive troubleshooting to identify/resolve potential issues

* Support users in connecting to corporate networks (LAN/WAN/Print/File services)

* Repair and maintain mobile devices

* Install, upgrade, and repair desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals

* Provide software break/fix support and non-warranty replacements

* Configure network printers and scanners, including IP setup & TCP/IP output

* Provide warranty & break/fix support for networked printers/scanners

* Support and configure users on mobile computing platforms

* Provide VIP support (desktops, mobiles, video systems, docking stations, printers, scanners, wireless devices, etc.)

* Create, modify, or remove printer configurations as per SLAs

* Provide general onsite hardware troubleshooting for EUC technologies

* Maintain regular communication with operations, sales, and internal teams

* Log all activities in the problem management database/tool

* Communicate technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical users

* Perform deskside support tasks as needed

*Required Experience & Skills:*

* **3–5 years** experience in EUC / deskside support

* Strong knowledge of imaging tools (Ghost, MDT)

* Experience with backup/recovery tools (USMT)

* Installing, upgrading, and migrating Windows 7/10

* Deploying Windows 7/10 in enterprise environments

* Configuring hardware, applications, and network connectivity

* Configuring access to corporate resources

* Supporting mobile computing

* Monitoring/maintaining Windows 7/10 systems

* Knowledge of backup & recovery configuration

* Strong communication and customer-handling skills
