Mission
The Databricks Customer Enablement team is on a mission to upskill Data and AI professionals in our customer organizations to use Databricks and accelerate customer success and outcomes.

Role Overview
As a Staff Customer Enablement Program Specialist at Databricks, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of our training and enablement portfolio across the EMEA Central region. This is not just a program management role, it is a customer facing, revenue impacting position where your expertise in selling learning solutions to enterprise accounts will directly accelerate customer adoption, retention, and expansion.

You will partner closely with account executives, engagement managers, and other account stakeholders to position Databricks' learning programs as a critical business outcome accelerator. Your ability to translate customer needs into tailored, high-value training solutions will enable our enterprise clients to maximize their investment in Databricks, while also contributing to the company's top line growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Program Sales & Positioning: Act as the subject matter expert in articulating the business value of Databricks training solutions. Partner with sales teams to design and present compelling enablement proposals that align with customer transformation and adoption goals.
  • Enterprise Account Engagement: Build strong relationships with enterprise customers across the EMEA Central region, identifying opportunities where learning solutions drive measurable ROI and differentiating Databricks in competitive sales cycles.
  • Program Design & Management: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of customer enablement programs, from needs assessment through delivery and post-program evaluation—all while ensuring training programs are strategically positioned to support renewal and upsell opportunities.
  • Learning Needs Diagnostics: Conduct in-depth assessments to uncover customer skill gaps and adoption blockers, then build data-driven learning roadmaps that both meet training objectives and reinforce Databricks' value proposition.
  • Execution & Delivery Excellence: Own the delivery of impactful, multi-modal training programs (classroom, virtual, blended) while ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat demand.
  • Commercial Impact Tracking: Report on key enablement metrics—course consumption, adoption rates, and customer success KPIs, while also highlighting revenue acceleration, renewal support, and solution expansion influenced by training engagements.
  • Customer Success Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Account Teams, Delivery Solution Architects, Enablement Architects, and Engagement Managers to jointly win opportunities where training is central to customer success.
  • Scaling & Expansion: Identify and replicate best practices for selling and delivering training across industries and account tiers, ensuring consistent growth in training adoption and revenue.
  • Leadership & Coaching: Act as a mentor and thought leader within the Learning & Enablement team, raising the bar for quality, innovation, and commercial impact.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of selling and implementing learning solutions into enterprise accounts, ideally in the software or cloud technology space.
  • Deep understanding of the EMEA Central enterprise landscape, industry verticals, and cultural nuances in driving customer engagement and training adoption.
  • Strong background in program management, enablement strategy, and learning & development design.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and gain buy in for training as a critical lever of digital transformation and ROI.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and consultative sales skills with fluency in German and English.
  • Results driven mindset with the ability to balance customer satisfaction and revenue goals.
