Role Overview
We are looking for an
Autopilot System Design Engineer
to support the localization, certification, system development, and technical management of intelligent driving (ADAS / Autopilot) systems for the European market.
This role will work closely with global R&D teams, local regulatory bodies, suppliers, and after-sales teams to ensure intelligent driving systems are compliant, competitive, and well adapted to European regulations, road conditions, and user behavior.
Responsibilities
Regulatory & Certification
- Coordinate and manage local regulatory certification activities, including
Euro NCAP, ISA
, and other intelligent driving–related regulations. - Support local project acceptance testing, including intelligent driving calibration matching, adaptive road testing, and scenario validation.
- Interpret EU regulations and ensure system compliance with local safety and homologation requirements.
System Design & Technical Management
- Own the technical management of intelligent driving software and hardware systems across the full lifecycle, from requirements definition and development to testing, validation, and after-sales support.
- Collaborate with global R&D teams to align system design with European regulatory, technical, and market requirements.
Localization & Capability Building
- Build and enhance local intelligent driving capabilities, including:
- Interpretation of local regulations
- Differentiation of driving scenarios and use cases
- Development of localized testing and validation plans
- Establishment and improvement of local testing equipment and infrastructure
Supply Chain & Technical Ecosystem
- Identify and establish relationships with
local suppliers, testing partners, and technical service providers
related to intelligent driving systems. - Support technical coordination and integration with local partners.
After-Sales & Technical Support
- Provide technical support for intelligent driving systems in the after-sales phase, including issue analysis, troubleshooting, and solution coordination.
- Support continuous system improvement based on field data and customer feedback.
Benchmarking & Market Research
- Conduct benchmarking against competitive EU models in the intelligent driving and ADAS domain.
- Research differences in user habits, driving behavior, and consumption patterns to support system optimization and product strategy.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in ADAS / Autopilot / Intelligent Driving system design, integration, or validation.
- Hands-on experience with Euro NCAP, EU ADAS regulations, and homologation processes.
- Experience with vehicle calibration, testing, and real-world road testing in Europe is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of ADAS systems, including sensors (camera, radar, lidar), software-hardware integration, and system architecture.
- Familiarity with intelligent driving testing tools, validation methodologies, and scenario-based testing.
- Ability to translate regulatory and market requirements into technical system solutions.
Language & Soft Skills
- Fluent in
English
(mandatory); additional European languages are a plus. - Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
