Location: Wesel
Responsibilities

• Business Process Management: Manage, optimize, and provide training on global innovation processes within ACTEGA. Maintain and improve a comprehensive system for tracking key innovation metrics and portfolio performance
• Innovation Excellence: Work closely with business lines and R&D teams to manage and drive projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of innovation within ACTEGA
• Digitalization: Lead and/or support implementation for digitalization projects in the area of innovation (i.e., lab automation, electronic lab notes)
• Leadership, project management, and coordination for special high-impact projects within the R&D organization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Oversee the management of internal communication channels to ensure effective sharing of information within the R&D community
• Foster a culture of innovation by facilitating regular exchanges and collaboration with innovation management departments across divisions of ALTANA
• Represent ACTEGA in the ALTANA institute core team and support R&D groups in the submission of research proposals
• Identify opportunities for public funding and grants to support R&D initiatives with support through external agencies
• Promote transparency and knowledge exchange within the R&D department and across the organization
• Close cooperation with internal and external interfaces for the continuous development of the innovation pipeline

Requirements
Required Qualifications:

• Successfully completed studies with a focus on innovation, innovation management, business administration and / or scientific orientation
• Several years of prior professional experience in innovation management, project management office or a similar field
• Distinctive experience in project management and familiarity with different project management tools
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent English, both spoken and written
• Proficiency with Office 365 suite or similar

Desired Skills And Knowledge

• Willingness to build and maintain great working relationships in a global decentralized organization
• Strong ability to work effectively within a team; actively contribute to team goals, support colleagues, and foster a cooperative and inclusive work environment.
• Experience with process design and implementation
• Strong digital experience including use of programs such as Smartsheet, Jira, Accolade, and / or Power Automate
• Proficiency in German
