Main tasksThe I. Our team combines cutting-edge basic and translational research to advance understanding and treatment of liver and intestinal immune-mediated diseases.Your TasksWork with murine samples (tissues, cells), ensuring the quality and integrity of all specimensPerforming in vitro assays with murine cellsConduct molecular and cellular analyses, including qPCR and flow cytometryEnsure the smooth running of daily laboratory operationsManage laboratory supplies, including ordering and inventory controlMonitoring hygiene standards and oversee waste disposal proceduresTake responsibility for the guidance and training of emplojeees, students and internsThis position is temporary until and to be filled with 19,25 hours of work per week.Your ProfileComplete training as a medical-technical assistant or biological-technical assistantAt least three years of experience in laboratory managementExcellent coordination, organizational, and communication skills, combined with independence, conscientiousness, reliability, and strong interpersonal skillsExperience in the processing of murine samples (ideally up to biosafety level 2) and preferably prior experience working with immune cells, as well as in the purification and analysis of nucleic acidsProficiency in MS Office applicationsKnowledge in laboratory managemntWillingness to work in an interdisciplinary teamVery good knowledge of German and EnglishImmunity statusPlease note that employment is contingent upon proof of immunization or immunity against the measles virus, in accordance with applicable legal and medical requirements.
