Bazel Engineer

Our technology powers products in automotive, agriculture, medical, and defense industries.   Your Role We are looking for an engineer with hands-on Bazel expertise to improve and maintain our build systems. You'll help make sure our builds are fast, reproducible, and ready for cross-platform development. What You'll Do—Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our Bazel build system.
• Improve and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with C++ developers to solve build and integration issues.
• Write and maintain Starlark rules and Bazel extensions.

You Have

• 3–5 years of experience in build systems or infrastructure.
• Strong Bazel knowledge and scripting in Python/Starlark.
• Familiar with C++ build processes and Linux.
• Experience with GitLab/GitHub workflows.

Great To Have

• Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with cross-compilation or other build tools like CMake.   A great role for someone who wants to

At Apex.AI, compensation for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Base salary is just one part of the total compensation package, which also includes stock options, health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k), learning courses, wellness/gym/pool subsidies, and paid time off. Benefits vary by location and jurisdiction and are subject to change.
The pay ranges listed reflect the intended minimum and maximum base salary for new hires in this role. Actual salary offers will depend on factors such as experience, certifications, education, skills, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
