M&A Analyst (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities: 
  • Manage end-to-end M&A processes, including target screening, valuation, due diligence, support contract negotiation and integration planning
  • Coordinate and direct cross-functional due diligence teams and external advisors (incl. financial, tax, legal)
  • Consolidate key findings into detailed financial models incorporating structuring, valuation and financing considerations
  • Prepare presentations and decision-making materials for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and mitigants, financial impacts, synergy potentials, and strategic recommendations
  • Support the M&A dialogue with external stakeholders (e.g., advisors, potential JV partners) and internal subject matter experts to identify potential acquisition opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Collaborate closely with corporate teams and operating units / regions to shape and align overall M&A strategy with broader organizational goals
Your profile:
  • University Degree, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field viewed as beneficial
  • Min. 5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or a similar analytical role
  • Experience in corporate M&A is a plus
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, comparable company analysis)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Business fluent in both German and English; additional languages are a plus
