Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer System Integration specialist to join our dynamic team in Berlin, Germany. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, combining Java development skills with DevOps practices and system integration expertise.

  • Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services
  • Assist in implementing DevOps practices and tools to streamline development and deployment processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems and applications
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality
  • Help maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in development and production environments
  • Learn and apply best practices in software development, DevOps, and system integration
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong foundation in Java programming and object-oriented design principles
  • Basic understanding of DevOps practices and tools
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., OpenShift)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker
  • Basic scripting skills in languages like Yaml or Bash
  • Experience in test-driven development 
  • Experience in the financial sector would be considered a plus
