Your mission

Freaks 4U Gaming is looking for a hands-on and highly organized IT Manager who will ensure the smooth operation, security, and performance of our internal IT infrastructure. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all things IT—solving complex technical issues, managing systems, and working across departments to keep our gaming and esports business running efficiently. If you thrive in high-pressure environments, enjoy problem-solving, and know your way around both hardware and software systems, this role at our Berlin-Spandau headquarters could be for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the company's IT infrastructure (networks, servers, workstations, cloud services).

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for internal employees across departments.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues under time pressure to minimize downtime.

  • Ensure cybersecurity standards and data protection policies are followed.

  • Set up and configure new devices and user accounts.

  • Maintain and improve IT documentation, inventory, and process workflows.

  • Monitor system performance and apply updates, patches, and fixes as needed.

  • Collaborate with external vendors



Your profile

Required Skills:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in IT administration or infrastructure management.

  • Completed vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration)

  • Proven troubleshooting skills in Windows and network environments.

  • Solid knowledge of IT hardware, operating systems, VPNs, firewalls, and cybersecurity tools.

  • High stress-resilience and the ability to work independently under time constraints.

  • Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken.

  • Comfortable supporting hybrid or on-site office environments.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ticketing systems (e.g. Jira, Freshdesk).

  • Experience in media production, gaming, or esports environments.

  • Basic scripting or automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).

  • Understanding of GDPR and IT compliance practices.

  • Passion for gaming and esports culture.
