Quality Control Analyst

Qualification and further development of new and existing suppliers to ensure their ability to deliver.

Job Requirements

• Planning and conducting supplier audits in accordance with VDA 6.3
• Independently following up on defined measures from supplier evaluations,
• including effectiveness reviews for continuous improvement processes
• Defining, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating external process optimization measures at suppliers
• Supporting supplier projects
• Support with customer and certification audits
• Support with supplier complaints
• Evaluation of initial sample inspection reports/PPAPs for series release
• Participation in the special release process
• Communication and cooperation with other departments within the company
• Blocking and releasing suppliers

What your background should look like

• Completed technical degree or comparable background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or industrial engineering
• Several years of experience in quality management in the automotive sector
• Experience working with suppliers and customers from specific market sectors and manufacturing technologies
• Relevant further training in quality management (quality manager or comparable)
• Normative knowledge in the areas of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA bands
• Qualification as a supplier developer
• Qualification as a VDA 6.3 process auditor and IATF auditor
• Very good knowledge of the application and implementation of QM methods and processes
• Methodological and practical competence in the application and implementation of 8D methodology / problem-solving methods / Q-tools / automotive core tools
• Very good written and spoken English skills
