Thesis Inline Material Characterization and Process Control in Injection Molding (m/f/d)



Your tasks
  • Design and development of an inline material characterization system using various sensors
  • Conduct literature research on sensor systems and polymer material characterization
  • Plan and execute experiments, collect data, and perform data analysis using evaluation tools
  • Document findings and results in a structured and professional manner
Your profile
  • Ongoing studies in polymer technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field
  • Sound knowledge of sensor technology, polymer material behavior, and injection molding processes
  • Hands-on experience in data analysis and programming (e.g., Python) is advantageous
  • Familiarity with CAD tools is a plus
  • Fluent in English and German, with a willingness to write the thesis in English
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for implementing innovative ideas
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and adaptable personality
