Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Director to join our Bank Broker Dealers team in Frankfurt.

This is a high-profile, strategic leadership role responsible for originating and managing relationships with a portfolio of financial institution clients across Northern Europe, with a particular focus on Swiss banks.

As a trusted strategic advisor and valued partner, you will be accountable for the revenue, profitability, and risk management of your client portfolio. You will lead origination efforts, deepen client engagement, and ensure the seamless delivery of the full spectrum of the bank's products and services

Key Responsibilities

• Lead origination and relationship management for a portfolio of key financial institutions, primarily Swiss banks and Northern European broker dealers

• Act as a strategic advisor to clients, driving opportunities across all product areas, including:

• Transaction Banking (Cash and Trade Finance)

• Banking - Debt Capital Markets, Loan Syndication

• Financial Markets (FM - FX, Rates, Credit, Financing (Repo/Securities Lending), Commodities & Securities Services)

• Partner with internal product and risk teams to deliver integrated solutions and optimise risk-adjusted returns.

• Drive sustainable client revenue growth while maintaining prudent risk and regulatory standards.

• Represent the bank with senior external stakeholders and internal executive committees.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to colleagues within the Financial Institutions Group, fostering collaboration and high performance.

Skills and Experience

• Proven track record as a senior relationship banker or coverage banker within the Financial Institutions sector.

• Deep understanding of banking regulatory environments, including BaFIN, FINMA and European regulatory frameworks.

• Extensive international network and established relationships across the financial services industry, particularly with banks and broker dealers.

• Demonstrated ability to originate and execute complex transactions across multiple product lines.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance revenue generation and risk management.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluency in English and German language skills essential. Swiss language skills are an advantage.
