Description
Our team is seeking a highly collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position involves defining, developing, automating, and deploying new test scenarios to validate various platform areas of 4G/5G cellular and satellite modems. Responsibilities include executing tests, analyzing results and failures, and identifying issues and optimizations to enhance the user experience. To improve efficiency, we use Python-based automation and leverage AI/ML wherever possible. You will work cross-functionally with platform architecture, standardization, firmware/protocol development, system test, and carrier engineering teams to drive improvement proposals and baseband optimizations. Our team members enjoy the flexibility to engage in all aspects of protocol software-PHY, RF, SIM, AS, NAS, IP, TCP/UDP, and iOS interfaces-to ensure the most robust and customer-friendly solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans based on high-level design documents and 3GPP specifications.
- Implement and automate test cases using industry-standard test development platforms.
- Verify and validate test results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Identify, report, and track issues through resolution, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Perform deep analysis of cellular traces across all protocol layers from a system-level perspective.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts to enhance test automation and analysis workflows.
Leverage AI/ML techniques at every stage to improve testing efficiency and overall system performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors/Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Understanding and experience with 4G and 5G cellular systems testing
- Knowledge & Experience in Automation and Scripting skills using Python
- Experience in building application with AIML
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in wireless embedded system testing, with a focus on 4G and 5G technologies.
- Skilled in defining, developing, and validating cellular modem system test cases for mobile devices using industry-standard test development platforms.
- Experienced in applying machine learning to enhance cellular system functionality and test efficiency.
- Solid grasp of 3GPP specifications including LTE and NR air interface, and key protocol layers - PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, PDCP, and NAS.
- Proven ability to independently lead complex technology areas and drive product quality improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
