Intern (m/f/d)– Financial Modelling & Analytics

The Financial Modeling & Analytics (FM&A) team provides a variety of financial modeling services to the Investment Management, Asset Management and Fund Management teams with a focus on the clean energy portfolio. Among other things, the team analyzes potential investments in terms of financial KPIs, maintains the business plan for acquired investments throughout the holding period, and ensures an efficient data flow to create insightful dashboards. We are looking for a new team member to support us on financial modelling and business analytics tasks.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will review financial models and support in financial modeling tasks, in accordance to the FAST-Standard
  • You will support the team in cleaning & harmonizing financial data of clean energy assets (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash flows, Financial KPIs)
  • You will support in data integration and visualisation in Power BI
  • You will conduct financial analysis on asset level and fund level
  • You will analyse commercial project contracts
     

Your Qualifications:

  • You are currently in your academic studies in an economic field, ideally with a focus on financial analysis & modeling and/or data analytics
  • You have a strong interest in the renewable energy sector
  • You have basic accounting knowledge
  • You have experience with visualization in Power BI
  • You are confident in handling common IT applications (MS Office - especially Excel)
  • You have a very good knowledge of business level English (writing and speaking), German skills are an additional advantage
  • You are available full-time for at least 4 months
