Your Role

  • Responsible for the full development cycle of one or more software components within the Mapless Autonomy Platform.
  • Identify software requirements in close contact with customers and technical experts and design appropriate algorithms and solutions.
  • Implement high-quality embedded software ready for real-time deployment on real vehicles.
  • Ensure the fulfillment of performance, safety and quality requirements with software and simulation testing as well as deployment under real-world conditions on our development vehicle.
  • Provide our customers and solution engineers with hands-on support for deployment of our software on their vehicles – including on-site/on-vehicle testing and application engineering.

Your Background

  • Degree in computer science, informatics, engineering or related (Bachelor, Master, or PhD).
  • Strong technical foundation and yearlong experience in at least one of the following fields: Probabilistic sensor-fusion, point-cloud processing, safety requirements and engineering.
  • Experience in driver assistance systems and / or autonomous driving.
  • Experience with modern C++ and embedded software engineering for real-time applications.
  • Experience with modern software engineering tools, including version control, continuous integration and testing as well as cloud-based development.
  • Willingness to deep-dive into new challenges and make our product a true next-generation software platform for automotive applications.
  • Strong team-player and the ability to communicate complex technology in a clear and straight-forward way to match customer and project expectations.
