Working Student - Financial Controlling (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities:

As a Working Student in Financial Controlling, you will report to Financial Controller and support our Finance Team in a wide range of areas, including:

Data Collection & Preparation

  • Gather financial data from ERP systems, Excel files, and accounting software.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.

Financial Analysis

  • Assist in variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast).
  • Analyze KPIs and trends.
  • Support cost center and project controlling tasks.

Reporting

  • Prepare regular financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for internal and Board use.
  • Compile data and visualizations for management presentations.
  • Maintain and update reporting tools and dashboards (Excel/BI tools).

PowerPoint Presentations

  • Create and update slides for Board and management meetings.
  • Visualize financial results and forecasts clearly and professionally.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in preparing budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Collect and consolidate departmental input.
  • Check plausibility and consistency of figures.

Ad-hoc Analyses & Projects

  • Conduct special analyses (e.g., profitability, scenario planning).
  • Support ongoing controlling projects.

Your Profile:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field in Berlin.
  • Prior internship or work experience in Germany or France (experience with Big 4 is a plus).
  • Open-minded, responsible, and able to work independently.
  • Eager to learn and grow in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English (German proficiency is a plus).
