The Role

We're looking for a
Community Manager & Social Media Manager
who lives and breathes internet culture — someone who understands what makes people connect, comment, and care.

You might have built community for a lifestyle brand, grown your own audience, or managed social for a brand that
feels like a movement.

This role is about bringing that same energy to MAKE: creating content that inspires, starting authentic conversations, and helping creators discover a financial brand that finally feels like theirs.

What You'll Do

Community Building

• Be present in the spaces where creators already hang out — Reddit, Discord, Instagram comments, and threads — showing up as a real person, not a logo.
• Launch and manage MAKE's own online community (Reddit, Discord, or similar) to spark conversations and share creator stories.
• Create small but mighty programs — AMAs, challenges, spotlights — that make creators feel
  seen
  and part of something.

Social Media

• Own and grow MAKE's social presence on Instagram, TikTok, and X.
• Create content yourself — short videos, behind-the-scenes moments, relatable posts, and genuine creator stories.
• Be comfortable on camera and at events, capturing content and connecting with people.
• Keep visuals and tone consistent: clean, creative, and human.
• Plan and maintain a content calendar to keep things organized and relevant.

Creator & Influencer Collaboration

• Build relationships with micro- and macro-creators who align with MAKE's values.
• Support creators by spotlighting them — not with ads, but with storytelling that celebrates their work.
• Partner with voices who can talk about money, business, and growth in a way that feels

  .

Analytics & Insights

• Track engagement, conversations, and sentiment.
• Share insights with the team — what creators are feeling, what trends are rising, what's resonating.
• Use data to experiment and refine your approach.

• Can wear many hats: strategist, creator, community moderator, trend spotter.
• Use insights and data to guide your next move (but you still trust your creative gut).

Experience & Background

You might have:

• Grown or managed a community for a lifestyle, beauty, fintech, crypto, Web3 or creator-focused brand.
• Run social channels that people actually engage with — brand or personal.
• Experience in influencer or ambassador programs.
• A love for internet culture and understanding of the creator economy.
• Great communication skills — written, spoken, and visual.
