Who we are

Our mission has started. We are starting our own battery cell production in Battery Valley in Salzgitter and ramping up our headquarters for global cell production. The Operations department takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

Your role and key responsibilities

Concept Development & Planning

• Support the creation of waste management and recycling concepts for production processes.
• Work on digitalization initiatives for waste and recycling workflows.
• Contribute to the development of traceability concepts for waste streams.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Assist in aligning concepts with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate implementation steps and ensure smooth handover to operational units.

Operational Support

• Provide post-handover support to operational teams for optimization and troubleshooting.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and presentations.
• Document processes and create necessary guidelines or manuals.
• Perform calculations and data analysis to support decision-making.

What you bring to the team

• Good or very good academic performance and current Bachelor or Master's study in engineering or natural sciences (industrial engineering,energy technology, mechanical engineering, chemistry and process engineering) or a related field
• Confident handling of MS Office 365
• Good written and spoken English and German language skills

• Experience in material flow, waste management or recycling is an advantage
