Process Owner Marketing* 
in Bonn 

The position is to be filled as soon as possible and is initially limited to two years, with a good prospect of extension. Employment location will be Bonn or Berlin, Germany.

 

Are you an online generalist with experience in project management? As Online Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of technical projects in Welthungerhilfe's online team. You will work in close coordination with colleagues and external service providers on the structural, content-related and technical optimization of the German and international websites.

Your responsibilities
 

• Working with a small and motivated team to implement the new marketing system landscape (including Salesforce, DynaCampaign, Inxmail, SAP, MFPlus, MuleSoft, PowerBI) and ensuring seamless integration across all platforms
• Thinking through marketing processes holistically and translating requirements into effective, well-designed workflows that are technically sound and operationally impactful
• Analysing business requirements and translating them into technical use cases and actionable briefs for IT teams and external service providers
• Maintaining and prioritising the process roadmap and overseeing implementation via Jira and Confluence
• Facilitating process workshops and managing interfaces with internal departments and external partners such as lettershops, call centres, and agencies
• Enabling business units to work effectively with the systems through practical, clear, and targeted guidance
• Supporting the selection, implementation, and further development of relevant fundraising technologies and tools
• Collaborating closely with Marketing, IT, Data Protection, and Data Analytics to establish standardised and GDPR-compliant processes
• Driving change management across the entire process chain — from internal communication to user training

Your profile
 

• Solid foundational background, e.g. a university degree, relevant vocational training, or comparable professional experience
• Strong understanding of cross-channel marketing and data-driven fundraising
• Technical expertise in MarTech stacks and extensive experience in process modelling — ideally using BPMN
• Confident use of Jira, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to present results clearly and concisely
• Strong analytical skills, a pragmatic approach to implementation, and the ability to maintain oversight even in complex situations
• Open communication style, high level of ownership, and strong assertiveness
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
