Then the open position as Senior Buyer R&D and IT Services might be the perfect next step in your personal development journey We are looking for an experienced purchasing professional who enjoys working in an agile product development cycle and who has the strategic ambition to integrate the most suitable market know-how in the areas of software development & validation services, automotive cloud services, vehicle design services and many more into our business model. In this course you will contribute significantly to the HOLON Purchasing Team's mission to establish a reliable and resilient partnership ecosystem to contribute to our company's future product design.

The respective scope of responsibility is as follows:

• Creating and owning the supply portfolio strategy in in the field of software development & validation services, automotive cloud services and vehicle design services
• Scouting, selection and implementation of suitable supplier partners based on market analyses and competition benchmarks
• Establishing sustainable and performant supplier relationships fostering reliability and innovation within our vehicle and electronics architecture development cycles
• Managing all procurement related activities in the product development cycle with focus of supplier's contribution to relevant project milestones
• Assessing (commercial, technical & quality) new supplier partners in collaboration with the R&D and Quality teams
• Conducting supplier visits and audits to ensure continuous performance by our partners
• Evaluating supplier offers regarding price, quality, delivery time and risk
• Ensuring timely service performance and supplier deliverables throughout all project phases
• Communication of market trends and purchasing strategies towards various internal stakeholders
• Identifying and implementing cost optimization potentials by implementing suitable development partnership steering models
• Coordinating supplier specific escalations with affected internal stakeholders

Your profile

• Completed (Master-) studies in one of the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in hardware and/or software development services purchasing, preferably in the automotive and/or high-tech electronics industry
• Comprehensive understanding of complex automotive (software) development processes and of strategic requirements towards respective external development partners
• Significant negotiation experience in complex and mile-stone-driven procurement settings in international contexts
• Strong intercultural skills and availability for international and national business trips
• Fluency in English language, further language skills are a plus

The HOLON urban is a fully electric and autonomous vehicle for use on public roads. It is one of the world's first movers to meet automotive standards – leading the way in safety, ride comfort and production quality. The vehicle operates at a top speed of 60 kilometers / 37 miles per hour and can accommodate up to 15 passengers.

The HOLON urban is barrier-free and offers an automated ramp, a secured wheelchair space and auditory and visual support for passengers. In addition to conventional scheduled services, the mover is to be used as an on-demand means of transport in order to meet the mobility needs of users.
