Mission
Join us as a Brand & Motion Designer and take our paid ads motion to the next level across 8 European markets. You will be responsible for the most exposed assets of the Qonto brand, seen by millions of people, and the first emotion our potential clients will feel when discovering us for the first time.
As we scale our acquisition efforts with more frequent special operations and expand across diverse markets, you will bring the project ownership and creative excellence needed to adapt our brand for different market preferences while maintaining consistency.
Baptiste, our Lead Brand Designer, will support you in making a direct impact on customer acquisition through design.
As a Senior Brand & Motion Designer at Qonto, you will
• Design and animate high-impact paid ads for acquisition across 8 markets: France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, and Portugal
• Own end-to-end creative projects from concept to delivery, adapting assets for different market preferences, formats, and platforms
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Kling) to innovate and create visual content tailored to specific target markets
• Collaborate closely with copywriters, paid search experts, and acquisition managers to develop thumb-stopping content that converts
• Test, analyze, and iterate on campaign performance across channels like Meta, Google Display Network, and video platforms to continuously improve effectiveness
What you can expect
• Market Context: You will work on campaigns that reach millions of potential customers across 8 European markets, each with unique preferences and competitive landscapes. Your work will directly influence how Qonto is perceived by SMEs discovering us for the first time. You'll be part of a hyper-growth environment with 40+ different nationalities.
• Team Environment: You will be part of a team of 8+ brand designers within a broader design studio of 80+ designers including product designers, content designers, and website designers.
• Brand Context: Push creative boundaries of an evolving brand - built in collaboration with Koto studio -, with the opportunity to contribute to defining our AI visual identity.
• Methodologies: We value strategic concepting and storytelling. You will have the autonomy to own projects from start to finish, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
About your future manager
Baptiste Dret, Lead Brand Designer
Baptiste, who has been with Qonto since 2022, started as a Senior Brand Designer and quickly grew into his current leadership role, where he has been supporting and growing a team of 7+ talented designers for 4 years.
With over 16 years of experience in design, including his time as Lead Graphic Designer at Just Eat, Baptiste brings deep expertise in performance marketing design and brand storytelling. He leads a diverse team covering paid ads, product marketing design, and our in-house video unit - giving you access to a rich ecosystem of creative talent and collaboration opportunities.
Baptiste is committed to helping his team members grow their craft while delivering high-impact work that drives business results.
About You
• Motion design expertise: You have at least 5 years of experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing paid ads or similar high-impact digital campaigns.
• AI tools proficiency: You regularly use generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Kling) and are able to think outside the box, challenge tools, and create workflows adapted to your projects.
• Performance marketing expertise: You have the ability to analyze data to understand campaign impact and iterate on marketing strategies across channels like Meta, Google Display Network, and video platforms.
• Strategic concepting: You can crack strong creative concepts and lead campaign development from initial idea to multi-format variations.
