We are looking for a
Multi-Role DevOps Engineer
The position is permanent and full-time.

Your key responsibilities include

You'll be the technical backbone of our AI Innovation Hub, building and maintaining the infrastructure that enables our AI artists to push creative boundaries with cutting-edge generative technologies.You'll split your time between pioneering AI production infrastructure and maintaining our broader company systems – a flexible balance that evolves as we grow and scale our operations.You'll architect everything from GPU workstation clusters and private networks to customer relationship management and project management systems that power our entire creative workflow.Working alongside our IT service partners, you'll deploy and integrate open-source solutions across our international Mediawan Group, connecting teams through centralized wikis, video hosting platforms, and identity management systems.You'll help build our AI communication ecosystem – from multilingual knowledge distribution to API-triggered engagement campaigns.We want to make sure 30% of your time is reserved for R&D and exploration – because innovation happens when you have space to wonder, experiment, and discover new paths.

Your Qualifications and Skills

You can work on-site at our Munich office on a regular basis (several days per week) - while some home office flexibility exists, consistent office presence is essential.You have solid experience in modern DevOps practices and are passionate about containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code – this foundation is more important than specific domain knowledge.You're proficient with our core stack: Linux administration, Docker/Kubernetes, web technologies (Angular/React, nginx, HAProxy), databases, and ideally familiar with Proxmox, PiKVM, and identity management solutions like Keycloak.You're comfortable across diverse environments – from Linux heavy-lifting servers to Mac editing workstations, local GPU clusters to cloud integrations, and everything containerizable in between.You have development experience in Python (for AI) and Type/JavaScript (for Web) and understand how to integrate APIs, automate workflows, and build systems that scale.You embrace AI-assisted development and automation, leveraging LLMs as coding partners for rapid prototyping and iteration while maintaining strong architectural principles – you build fast, but you build secure with well-established software patterns.You embrace a collaborative, open-source mentality, actively discovering and integrating community-driven projects while maintaining security and reliability standards across international operations.Most importantly: you're excited to learn AI production workflows, understand how creative teams work, build the technical foundation that enables revolutionary content creation and are ready to help define what our AI infrastructure looks like.You are proficient in German and have excellent English skills.
