Your mission - What you will achieve:

As a Senior Lead Software Architect (f/m/d), you will own the technical vision and architecture of our Electrification and Automation IoT SaaS portfolio. By bridging energy domain expertise with cutting-edge cloud and edge technologies, you will design scalable, reliable, and secure solutions on AWS. You will play a key role in shaping architectural strategy and driving technical excellence across multiple teams.

How you'll make an impact

• Lead architectural decisions for our cloud-native AWS-based SaaS solutions and review proposals from product and team architects
• Mentor and guide our architecture community, fostering technical excellence and best practices
• Define the technical strategy and align architectural roadmaps with business goals.
• Support multiple development teams and software architects across distributed locations, promoting collaboration and high-quality results
• Establish architecture governance and best practices to ensure scalable, cost-effective solutions
• Drive technology evaluation, selection, and adoption across the organization

Your defining qualities

• Education
• • You hold a master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience & Skills

• • You have a longterm experience in software architecture, including several years as a lead architect, with at least 2 years in enterprise-level cloud solutions.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of cloud-native technologies, including Java, JavaScript, Python, serverless architecture, data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases, REST, message queuing, and container orchestration

• Have hands-on experience in the energy automation domain

• Confidently present, discuss, and make decisions on strategies, technologies, and architectural designs

• Languages

• • Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal; German is a plus
