Architectural Surveyor

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented 
Architectural Surveyor & Technical Draftsperson
 to join our growing team in Munich. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate building surveys, technical drawings, and plans (2D/3D) that form the foundation of our architectural and digital documentation projects.

In this role, you will:

Conduct precise on-site building and site measurements (interior and exterior)

Process point clouds, photos, and measurements into reliable CAD data

Create architectural floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings according to industry standards

Develop BIM-ready 3D models (e.g. Revit/Archicad) and derive technical documentation

Work on technical detailing, material specifications, and plan coordination

Ensure drawing accuracy, dimensioning, and adherence to project standards

Collaborate closely with project leads, architects, and external partners

Manage documentation, version control, and organized data handover to internal teams and clients

Qualifications:

Degree in Architecture, Geomatics, or related technical field, or training as a Surveyor/Draftsperson

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Blender, Archicad) and surveying workflows

Experience creating precise architectural drawings and technical documentation

Familiarity with 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry, and point cloud processing

Strong attention to detail, structure, and quality in all deliverables

Based in or willing to relocate to Munich; travel is required

Nice to Have:

Experience with BIM coordination and IFC workflows

Knowledge of Leica/Trimble tools, total stations, GNSS, or mobile scanners

Basic scripting experience in Dynamo or Grasshopper for automation

Background in existing buildings, heritage projects, or MEP coordination

Familiarity with project documentation standards (e.g. HOAI, VOB, PlanRadar, docma/MM)
