An innovative, international technology company is seeking a talented 3D Character Artist to join its creative team and help develop a next generation of high-quality character assets. The successful candidate will play a significant role in enhancing the company's visual storytelling and production quality.

Role:
3D Character Artist

Salary:
up to €54K

Location:
Munich (on-site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Creation: Design high-quality 3D character models from initial concept to final production-ready assets.
  • Sculpting & Texturing: Sculpt detailed high-poly characters and produce textures using tools such as Substance Painter and Photoshop.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with concept artists, riggers, and animators to ensure all characters meet technical and artistic requirements.
  • Iterative Design: Participate in regular team reviews and iterate on designs based on feedback to drive continuous artistic improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a 3D Character Artist in the film or games industry, or a portfolio demonstrating equivalent expertise.
  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of ZBrush and at least one major 3D package such as Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
  • Artistic Knowledge: A deep understanding of anatomy, silhouette, proportion, and form, with experience in both realistic and stylized pipelines.
  • Game Engine Familiarity: Familiarity with modern game engine workflows, specifically Unreal Engine or Unity.
