Your mission

Design and development of complex components and assemblies using CATIA V5 within aerospace engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design of primary structures: wing, fuselage, empennage (tail), and internal load-bearing frames

  • Development of secondary structures: equipment brackets, covers, fairings, access panels, ducts

  • Design in both composite and metallic materials (e.g., CFRP, Al, Ti)

  • Create and maintain parametric models and master assemblies in CATIA V5/V6

  • Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings with full GD&T, tolerance stacks, and material specs

  • Collaborate with stress engineers (internal or external) for load path validation

  • Participate in Design Reviews (PDR/CDR) and support design releases within 3DEXPERIENCE



Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience as a CAD Engineer / Aircraft Design Engineer in the aerospace or UAV sector

  • Expert-level proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly Design, Generative Shape Design, etc.)

  • Strong working knowledge of PLM systems such as 3DEXPERIENCE

  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus

  • Proven experience working in international, cross-functional teams

  • Structured, independent, and team-oriented working style

  • Passion for new technologies and a desire to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
