DEIN Arbeitsumfeld

For our Douglas Group Technology team we are looking for you as a Software Engineer – anywhere in Germany.

TASKS WITH IMPACT

• You develop state-of-the-art software solutions for our international e-commerce beauty platform.
• You engineer, improve & maintain microservices in the e-commerce backbone of our system landscape. By this you make an impact on our customers checkout and fulfillment experience.
• You integrate these services with SAP Commerce Cloud, other backend or frontend components.
• You work in a product driven team setup.
• You are in close contact with your IT colleagues and understand the needs and requirements of a high-performance, secure and stable platform operation.

YOUR SKILLS

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role with a clear focus on the Java ecosystem
• Experience in designing, creating, deploying and improving micro services in complex cloud architectures (Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, GCP, RabbitMQ)
• A firm understanding and practical experience in tools and processes to ensure software quality, such as Unit Tests, TDD and Test Automation
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams in an international and agile environment
• Experience in working with eCommerce applications, preferably SAP Commerce Cloud
• You don't have to know every technology. But you should have fun learning new stuff.
• You are passionate about what you create.
• Very good English skills, German language skills are a plus.
• We are serious: you don't have to know everything mentioned in this job ad. Most important are a tech background, a growth mindset and being passionate about your job. • Following things are a plus:
• You have a basic understanding of frontends with technologies like TypeScript, React, and are not afraid of doing smaller frontend modifications.
• Devops knowledge, e.g. modifying build and deployment pipelines
