Job Description
Scalable Capital was built in the cloud from day one. Our services currently run on various AWS services like ECS, Fargate and Lambda and utilise a multi account strategy.
We embrace a DevOps culture where the development teams manage their own CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for their services themselves. Our Cloud Engineering Team focuses on a reusable and modular cloud infrastructure to enable the development teams to deploy and operate services in the cloud productively and securely.
- You will continuously improve our Cloud Foundation in AWS based on Account Factory for Terraform
- You will be responsible for improving internal backend applications and deployment automation using tools like Terraform, AWS Lambda and Python
- You will develop custom tools and scripts to build features AWS Services do not offer
- You will mentor and enable our engineering teams to further foster our DevOps culture and contribute engineering wide concepts such as IAM or Staging Environments.
Qualifications
- Multiple Years of Experience with AWS and its services, especially VPC, IAM, ECS, Lambda, S3 and Organizations
- Proficient (Implement, Test, Release) with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
- Working knowledge in at least one general purpose programming language, preferably Python
- A degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering, sciences) or work experience in a role that typically requires a university degree
- A passion for automating and improving processes
- Proficiency in communicating concisely in an international English-speaking environment
- Previous experience in networking, audit-logging, and access tracing is an advantage
