Junior Consultant – Strategy (Life Sciences / Pharma or Energy / Engineering) | Düsseldorf

Our client is a specialized international management consultancy, renowned for its expertise in strategic decision-making and risk management. With a strong presence across key global markets, they support leading organizations in developing innovative growth strategies and enhancing internal decision-making capabilities.

At their Düsseldorf office, the focus lies on advising clients in the
life sciences
and
energy/engineering
sectors. They are currently looking to hire a
Junior Consultant
to join their growing team.

What to Expect:

  • Work on national and international strategy projects
  • Support clients in strategic decision-making across R&D, M&A, licensing, and growth initiatives
  • Contribute from day one with responsibility across project areas
  • Engage in designing analytical frameworks, conducting market/trend analysis, and supporting the development of the Düsseldorf office

Sample Project Topics:

  • Development strategies for new products or technologies
  • Business unit growth strategy (organic vs. acquisition)
  • Capacity expansion planning
  • Pricing and licensing strategies based on decision theory
  • Portfolio review and optimization

Candidate Profile:

  • Master's
    degree completed; PhD is a plus
  • Internships or experience in strategic business development, consulting, or risk management
  • Passion for strategic thinking and problem-solving
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and structured working style
  • Comfortable working in international teams and client settings
  • Fluency in
    German
    and
    English
