We're looking for a proactive and ambitious Real Estate Legal Counsel to play a pivotal part in our Legal team and Mileway Germany team. You'll be a highly-motivated professional who's ready to take the next step in your legal career. The right candidate has not only the drive and discipline to handle the day-to-day work, but the ambition to grow with us.

You'll be based at our office in Frankfurt and will sit with the multidisciplinary Mileway Germany team headed by our Country Director Germany. The position is full-time and you will be part of the broader Legal team which consists of the Legal team based in Amsterdam and the Legal and Compliance team based in Luxembourg. As an integral part of the Mileway Germany team, you will report to the Country Director Germany.

What you'll do

• Supporting the German team with day-to-day asset management legal queries
• Drafting and reviewing lease agreements, amendments, and settlement documents
• Managing external legal counsel for leasing and litigation matters
• Assisting with NDAs, LOIs, and due diligence in acquisitions and disposals
• Maintaining legal trackers and liaising with public authorities

What you'll bring

• Post-qualification experience - 5 years
• Fluent in German and good command of English
• Manage pre-litigation and litigation disputes with a focus on commercial property disputes
• Evaluate litigation risk and provide strategic advice to minimise exposure
• Oversee and optimise debt recovery strategies
• Manage relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Provide support and training to the internal team on legal issues related to disputes
