Product Innovation Manager Laboratory Automation

Your challenges
- You lead the development of the digital portfolio and execute the digital business strategy for the Business Unit (BU) Automation, collaborating with the Innovation Management Team and reporting to the Head of BU Automation.
- You hold business responsibility for the product and solution portfolio, introducing suitable business models such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Pay-per-Use models as needed.
- You develop, prioritize, and implement the innovation funnel, ensuring alignment with hardware, consumables, and user service offering strategies.
- You are responsible for crafting the product vision, defining user requirements, and establishing business models for new developments, as well as ensuring the timely execution of agile development projects.
- You plan and oversee the successful market launch and revenue generation of new products, working closely with the product management team.
Your expertise
- You hold a degree in software/computer science, natural sciences, or economics, with a deep understanding of digitalization and its business opportunities.
- You are eager to realize your ideas and have demonstrated experience as a Product Manager or Innovation Manager in product launches, go-to-market strategies, and establishing support structures, including networking with cloud application providers.
- You have professional experience in business and innovation management, effectively utilizing internal data streams and translating external requirements into data-driven user requirements for the R&D team.
- You possess a solid grasp of successfully executed digitalization strategies in comparable market segments or direct competitors, related service products and business models, specific customer segments, and extensive experience in leading project teams.
- You impress with your agile mindset, strategic planning skills, ability to develop Minimal Viable (Saleable) Product roadmaps, and strong customer orientation.
- You stand out with excellent presentation and communication skills, both internally and externally, paired with good business acumen and understanding of financial metrics.
- You see yourself as a team player with leadership skills, strong networking abilities, and cultural sensitivity.
- You are fluent in English and preferably have skills in German, both spoken and written.
