The Role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer with strong backend skills and practical broader experience crossing into cloud deployments and frontend development to join our engineering team in Berlin. You will help us design, build, and deploy our backend systems and key applications that make our AI solutions transparent, scalable, and user-friendly — from log collection services to customer-facing KPI dashboards and automated monitoring and diagnostics tools up to secondary cloud AI modules.

This is a role for someone who enjoys working across the stack and shaping and owning complete solutions: developing web applications end-to-end, ensuring smooth deployment across devices and cloud environments, and translating customer requirements into user-friendly features and frontends.

Location: Berlin, Germany (hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

What You'll Do

• Implement backend services and APIs (RESTful, and optionally GraphQL) to support higher-level AI features and frontend functionality.

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive dashboards and web applications for internal and external users.

• Ensure smooth containerized GitOps based deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD) across devices and environments.

• Integrate with and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins) for automated builds, testing, and deployment.

• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) as well as on-premise environments.

Collaborate with ML, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of dashboards and backend systems.

Job requirements What You Bring (Must-Have Skills)

• Broad expertise in full stack web application development (frontend & backend).

• Backend: Strong experience with Java, , Python, or Ruby — and RESTful API development.

• Frontend: Solid proficiency in React, Angular, or — with proven ability to build clean, intuitive dashboards.

• Containerization: Solid hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• CI/CD: Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.).

• Cloud & On-Prem: Proven experience deploying web applications in both cloud and on-prem environments.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with GraphQL for optimized API queries.

• UI/UX sensibility — able to design dashboards that are both functional and visually appealing.

• Experience handling real-time data streams (WebSockets, live KPIs).

• Understanding of web application security (OAuth, JWT, secure API practices).

• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.

• Experience with data visualization techniques for technical and non-technical users.

• Exposure to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).
