Your team

Following the successful establishment of its European headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG (BPAG) is seeking to strengthen its European and German Credit Risk team in Frankfurt am Main with a Credit Executive (m/f/d).

BPAG operates across Europe, with branches in Luxembourg, Spain, Monaco, France, Italy and the UK.   

Your role

You will report to the Head of Credit Risk Europe and join the Credit Executive team (the Group's second line of defence – L2), part of Pictet's Group Risk & Compliance department.

As a Credit Executive, you will evaluate and sanction credit requests from Pictet's business lines, either by validating them within set criteria or by providing a pre-advice on requests requiring higher-level approval, including presenting Credit Risk's view to the relevant decision-making bodies. Your role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across the Group, including Wealth Management, Asset Services, Tax, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Trading Services.

You will also assist in the follow-up of Watchlist cases and conduct control testing. You contribute to updating credit directives and procedures, credit risk reporting, supporting credit risk-related projects, and addressing regulatory matters, audits, and supervisory inspections.

Your profile

As a Credit Executive, you bring more than 7 years of working experience, of which minimum 5 years are spent in credit activities for wealth management and institutional clients, with a strong desire to grow professionally and embrace challenges. You excel in decision-making, forming sound opinions on complex requests and negotiating solutions that balance business growth with Pictet's financial strength. Your analytical expertise allows you to assess intricate financial and legal structures, and you have a solid understanding of global financial markets, including FX and derivatives. Fluent in English, with proficiency in French and/or German as a plus, you possess excellent writing, presentation, and MS Office skills.

As part of a small, global, and skilled team, you are proactive, conscientious, and a collaborative team player who thrives under pressure and meets tight deadlines. You bring innovative ideas to enhance Pictet's credit business, demonstrating autonomy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to tactfully prioritize competing demands.
