The Role

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to ensure Aware's product and technical projects move efficiently from concept to release.

You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the CEO & Co-founder to act as a bridge between leadership and the Engineering team, ensuring priorities are clear, communication flows smoothly, and progress stays on track.

The role is an execution-driven position focused on organisation, accountability, and velocity. You'll coordinate agile delivery, remove blockers, and keep multiple initiatives aligned with company goals.

Your responsibilities
  • Project Delivery Ownership – Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of cross-functional technical projects from start to finish.
  • Bridge Between leadership and Engineering – Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, maintain alignment, and ensure feedback loops stay tight.
  • Sprint Coordination & Velocity – Facilitate agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retros), monitor progress, and drive consistent delivery speed.
  • Accountability & Transparency – Maintain clear documentation, milestones, and ownership visibility across all projects.
  • Unblocking & Problem-Solving – Identify dependencies early and proactively remove obstacles that slow down the team.
  • Hands-On Contribution – Support execution directly when needed — creating documentation, simple designs, dashboards, or brief drafts.
  • AI-Native Workflows – Use generative AI tools to accelerate coordination, reporting, documentation, and synthesis.
  • Continuous Improvement – Propose and implement process enhancements to improve delivery flow and communication efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, risks, and outcomes.
Your profile
  • 5+ years of experience in technical or agile project management, ideally in a SaaS, health-tech, or digital product environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time and with clarity.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (Jira, Notion, or similar).
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills — structured, dependable, proactive.
  • Hands-on mindset: willing to dive into details and contribute directly when needed.
  • High proficiency with AI tools for documentation, coordination, and workflow automation.
  • Fluent in English (C1 or better); German skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Based in Berlin with a valid work permit, if necessary.
